A parked domain is one that is taken, yet it is not linked to some other service - web or e-mail hosting. Put simply, such a domain address won't open any actual content if you type it inside a web browser, but no one else can take it as you've already registered it and you are its owner. The best thing about acquiring a domain and parking it afterwards is that you are able to keep it and not stress that somebody else might register it meanwhile if, for instance, the site for it is not ready yet. You may set a temporary Under Construction page for a parked Internet domain while you are working on your web site, or direct it to some other web address - temporarily or permanently. The second option can be used when you have already registered domain.com, for example, and you get domain.net and domain.org, so as to protect a brand name or a trademark. In this situation, the .net and .org domain names can be parked and forwarded to the .com since you do not need different sites for them.

Parked Domains in Cloud Hosting

You are going to be able to park as many domains as you want with any of the cloud hosting packages that we offer. Naturally, this feature is available only for domain addresses registered with us since the service is always provided only by the registrar. Unlike many companies, we do not charge anything more for parking a domain address and the process takes only a couple of mouse clicks in your Hepsia Control Panel. We also have a couple of parking templates to choose from where you can add custom text. If you choose to host a parked domain in the future, adding it to your account will take only a mouse click. Everything necessary for the website to start showing up, including setting up a domain folder and creating DNS records will be done automatically by us. The feature-rich Domain Manager tool will allow you to view a full list of the domains that you've registered through us and you can set a filter to view only the parked or only the hosted ones.
